HOUSTON – The Army West Point men's rugby team placed third in the CRAA Men's Premier 7s College Rugby Championships.
"As a team with a lot of young guys, this tournament was a great experience," Joe Manning said. "The 7s training led to a lot of individual development and the tournament got new players opportunities to play high level competition on our first side, an invaluable experience and confidence builder for the young guys. We learned a lot and developed a lot over the two weeks of 7s, which will create a great platform for us to build off of going into next season.
