CHESTER, Pa. – The Army West Point men's rugby team produced its first shutout of the 2016 Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championships with a 38-point victory over Tennessee in the Bowl quarterfinals from Union Field One Sunday morning.
The Black Knights improve to 2-2 in the tournament and advance to the semifinals against the winner of Clemson and Navy with kickoff scheduled for 10:08 a.m. at Talen Energy Stadium.
Jake Lachina opened the scoring for Army in the fourth minute with Andrew Borer adding the conversion. Two minutes later, freshman Harrison Farrell scored his first collegiate try to extend the lead to 12-0.
