Men's Lacrosse Takes Care of Mercer On The Road, 16-5

MACON, Ga. -- Army West Point men's lacrosse (3-1) defeated the Mercer Bears (1-3) on the road, 16-5 Saturday afternoon.

Mercer started with energy and took an early 2-0 with two goals from Kyle Cox, but Army settled down and scored the next four to take a 4-2 lead after the first 15 minutes of play. Paul Johnson got the scoring started for Army and Evan Plunkett added two in the quarter to lead the Black Knights.

Army continued the momentum in to the second period and Reese Burek kept it going with his first of the day.
