Men’s Basketball Shoots Past Fairleigh Dickinson

TEANECK, N.J. – Kyle Wilson's career night propelled the Army West Point men's basketball team to a 96-85 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday night at the Rothman Center. Wilson led the hot-shooting Black Knights with a career-best 36 points on a 13-for-17 effort from the field, including an 8-for-12 showing from beyond the arc.

As a team, Army shot 64.8 percent from the field (35-of-54) and was 12-for-23 from downtown (52.2 percent) in the victory, which helped it overcome turning the ball over 25 times. In addition to Wilson, several other Army players had career-best games, including Tanner Plomb, who recorded his fourth double-double with 15 points and a personal-best 16 rebounds.
