WALTHAM, MA - Army West Point hockey freshman Max Itagaki was named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month for the second time this season, announced today by the league.
Itagaki led the conference in assists during the month of February, logging two goals and 10 assists in nine games during the month. He logged back-to-back games with two assists versus Sacred Heart and Holy Cross in a pair of Army victories from February 7-10. He went on to score the game-winning overtime goal for his third tally of the season against Mercyhurst. In game two against the Lakers, he recorded three assists for a career-high three point night.
