WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's basketball senior Kelsey Minato was named the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for her 23-point effort during an 86-47 victory over Emerson on Dec. 19.
The AAA Athlete of the Week accolade is her second of the season and the 13th of her career.
Minato made 10-of-20 of her attempts from the field in the win to mark her third straight game shooting at least 50 percent overall, and her fourth of the season.
The senior guard added a pair of three-pointers, three rebounds, three assists and two steals to her game-high 23 points.
