WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point men's basketball junior Jalen Rucker was named to the NABC Division I All-District 13 Second Team, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Tuesday morning.
Rucker, a junior guard from Baltimore, Maryland averaged 16.6 points this season, leading the entire Patriot League. Rucker was named to the All-Patriot League First Team following his dominant season. Rucker led Army to the fourth seed in the Patriot League Tournament, in which he was instrumental in the Black Knights' quarterfinal victory over Boston University. Rucker hit a three-pointer to send the game into overtime, eventually scoring Army's final 15 points on the way to the victory, including all 12 overtime points.
