CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Freshman Abby Halbrook of the Army West Point women's track and field team was named the Patriot League's Rookie of the Week for the second time this season for her performance that contributed to the team's thrilling 91-90 victory over service academy rival Navy this weekend.
"Abby is one of our most valuable performers, and that showed this weekend," said Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Mike Smith. "She has range from 800m to 5000m. She is dependable and is a fierce competitor. She is just scratching the surface of what we think she is capable of accomplishing.
