WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army senior running back Matt Giachinta has been named a finalist for the 2015 Pop Warner College Football Award, it was announced Thursday.
Giachinta, from Cold Spring, N.Y., is one of four finalists, which include Duke's Jeremy Cash, Wake Forest's Brandon Chubb and UCLA's Jake Brendel. The winner of the 2015 Pop Warner College Football Award will be announced at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports during the Pop Warner Super Bowl week in early December.
Giachinta is a team captain for the Black Knights who has been a member of the West Point Dean's List every semester of his career.
