WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team will begin its fall camp Monday with the first of 15 practices scheduled as head coach Jeff Monken begins his third year at the helm.

The Black Knights will welcome 55 freshmen along with 87 returnees as preparations for the upcoming season begin in earnest.

Army opens the 2016 slate on Friday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m. against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. The game will be carried live on CBS Sports Network.

Fall camp will run for two weeks before the players participate in "Reorganization Week" at West Point and then begin classes a week later.
