WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team was on the field in the morning for the first of two practice sessions on Wednesday. Wednesday morning's session marked its 10th practice of the preseason camp.
The Black Knights took the field under overcast skies, with temperatures hovering around the mid-70s. Players worked on positional drills to begin the practice before the team competed in an 11-on-11 game-like situation.
The offense focused on working out of the option early and later switched passing drills. Passing work included short throws to backs and deep passes to wide receivers in one-on-one situations.
