CLEARWATER, Fla. – Jolie Duong had a dominant performance on the hill in Army West Point softball's 3-0 win over Robert Morris at the Clearwater Spring Break Invitational on Sunday. The sophomore from Houston, Texas, hurled a two-hit shutout and struck out eight batters, while allowing no walks.
ARMY NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS
- Duong allowed just two baserunners – neither of which advanced past second base.
- Her eight strikeouts matched her career high, which she previously set against Monmouth on March 15, 2019.
- In addition to her success on the mound, she was the only player in the contest to record a multi-hit game.
