CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Army West Point volleyball swept the Patriot League's weekly awards. Junior Amber Clay was honored as the Athlete of the Week, while freshman Allie Strong was awarded Rookie of the Week honors.
STAND OUTS
- Clay led the Black Knights offensively in all three matches over the weekend with contests against Lipscomb (W, 3-1), No. 3 Texas (L, 3-0) and UTSA (W, 3-0). The St. John, Ind., native averaged 3.7 kills per set and hit .329 on the weekend.
- She recorded her third double-double of the season with 10 kills and 11 digs opposite the nationally recognized Longhorns.
