West Point, N.Y., - The Army West Point men's track and field team was picked to finish third in the Patriot League's annual preseason poll.
Army will look to climb the rankings with 32 athletes returning and 25 first-years joing the team. Senior captain Jose Santana will look to pass on his wisdom to this young team as they head into the indoor season.
Navy, the defending men's champion, received 128 points and all 16 available first place votes to finish atop the preseason poll. After finishing second at last year's Patriot League championships, Boston University placed second with 109 point and one first place vote.
