BETHLEHEM, PA - No. 13 Army West Point women's lacrosse freshman phenom Brigid Duffy claimed her third Patriot League Rookie of the Week honor of the season, announced today by the league.
Duffy continued to dominate when called upon, scoring eight goals and assisting twice this past week as Army improved to 8-0 this season. Duffy scored five times in the win against Siena including four in the first half to help open up an eight-goal lead. She added a game-high nine draw controls along with a caused turnover and ground ball. Returning against Holy Cross, Duffy deposited three goals while assisting twice and picking up five draw controls as Army led 15-3 at the half en route to a 23-6 victory.
