WEST POINT, N.Y. – Led by 11 kills from , the Army West Point volleyball team swept Lafayette, 3-0, on Friday night at Gillis Field House.
The Black Knights jumped out to an early 14-4 lead in the first set, but Lafayette climbed back into the match. The Leopards got the score down to 24-18, but a kill by put the set away. Fairfield led the way with six kills in the opening set.
Army once again came out on fire and built another 14-4 advantage in the second set. This time the Leopards had no answer and the Black Knights went up 2-0 in the match with a 25-11 set victory.
