Big Third Quarter Lifts Army in League Opener

WORCESTER, Mass. – A seven-goal third quarter by the 16th-ranked Army West Point men's lacrosse team proved to be the difference in a 13-6 win at Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon in the Patriot League opener.

The Black Knights (4-1, 1-0 Patriot League) were led by Evan Plunkett's seven-point afternoon with three goals and four assists. Jacob Morin added five goals in the win and scored the first three goals of the game for Army. Bailey O'Connor and Gunnar Fellows also had multi-goal games for the winners.
