WEST POINT, N.Y. – After posting 80 assists over two games, freshman setter Haven Bethune was named the Army West Point Athletics Athlete of the Week and the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
Bethune centered Army's offense during a two-win weekend with victories over Lafayette (3-0) and a five set thriller over service academy rival Navy. The rookie had a career-high 55 assists against the Mids on Saturday to average 11.0 per set.
The Chattanooga, Tenn., native also tallied 19 digs on the weekend and 13 against Navy to post the fifth double-double performance of her career.
