HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's soccer team ran into a tough Colgate squad here Wednesday, dropping a 5-0 decision.
The Raiders got on the scoreboard in the 20th minute after Sarah Coy found the back of the net for her fifth tally of the year. Less than ten minutes later Sophi Lederer added another score for the home team following a made penalty kick.
Just before halftime rookie Mara Cosentino made it a 3-0 Colgate edge, creating a big hole for the Black Knights.
Two more second half scores for the Raiders ultimately sealed the victory for Colgate.
