DANBURY, Conn. – For the first time in 60 years, the Army West Point football team was awarded the highly coveted Lambert Trophy, given annually by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
The award will be presented to them at the 83rd Eastern College Football Awards Banquet at The Ridge in Danbury, Conn., on Feb. 21.
A year after being named ECAC Division I Football Bowl Subdivision Team of the Year, the Black Knights will be presented the 2018 Lambert Trophy for the first time since 1958. The Cadets had a historic season that saw a lot of firsts.
