Roger Woods helped close out UALR's best season at the Jack Stephens Center with one of its best performances Tuesday night.
Woods tied an arena record 30 points and Josh Hagins added 15 to pass Derek Fisher for third place on UALR's all-time scoring list as the Trojans beat Arkansas State 89-80 in front of a Stephens Center record-crowd of 5,619 on Tuesday night.
Hagins made his first six shots to stake an early lead for UALR (27-3, 17-2), which set a program record for overall victories, then Woods scored 10 points in a 13-4 run to close the first half with a 48-38 lead.
