FAYETTEVILLE -- Seemingly all the ingredients for a trap game exist for the University of Arkansas women's basketball team ahead of its nonconference finale.
After a six-day Christmas break, the Razorbacks (11-3) returned to practices Friday ahead of their last game before hosting Vanderbilt on New Year's Day in their SEC opener. But the opponent sandwiched between the break and league play is what figures to be a motivated in-state foe that could give them trouble.
Arkansas is scheduled to welcome red-hot Arkansas State for a 2 p.m. tipoff Sunday at Walton Arena. The game will be streamed on SEC Network-Plus.
