Saturday night was no exception as Kennesaw State jumped out to a 21-point lead in the first quarter then survived the Red Wolves' comeback attempt for a 28-21 victory at Fifth Third Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.
"We lost the game in the first half and you can't keep doing that," ASU Coach Butch Jones said in a radio interview after the game. "I thought we were ready to play and then something clicked when we got to the stadium. ... We got ambushed.
