VanDuinen Sets Five-Game Traditional Pinfall Record on Day Two of Penguin Classic - Arkansas State University

STRUTHERS, Ohio. (10/18/25) – Senior Karli VanDuinen set the program record with five-game traditional pinfall of 1,259 pins to help the Arkansas State women's bowling team climb to fourth in total pinfall after two days at the Penguin Classic hosted by Youngstown State.

Among three A-State bowlers in the top 10 individuals, VanDuinen averaged an impressive 251.8 pins. VanDuinen opened with a 279 against Lewis and followed with a 227 against Valparaiso and a 238 against Duquense before a 278 against Vanderbilt. She finished the day with 237 against Sacred Heart and her 1,259 total pins were 85 pins more than the next closest individual.
