Kierra Jordan finished with 28 points on 14-of-18 shooting as the Central Arkansas women's basketball team defeated Houston 69-55 on Tuesday in the Rae & Craig Blair Memorial Tournament at the Convocation Center in San Antonio.
Jordan also had 7 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal for UCA (8-2).
Maggie Proffitt scored 24 points and made 3 three-pointers. She and Jordan scored 52 of UCA's 69 points Tuesday.
UCA led 28-21 at halftime. The Sugar Bears went on an 8-0 run to start the second half to extend their lead to 36-21 with 7:39 left in the third quarter.
