FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas men’s golf team extended its streak to 17 consecutive NCAA regional invitations Wednesday as the Razorbacks were seeded No. 9 at the Amherst (Va.) Regional hosted by Liberty on May 12-14.
Coach Brad McMakin has guided the Razorbacks to a regional in 17 of his 18 seasons at the helm of Arkansas golf.
The Razorbacks will have to battle a handful of fellow SEC squads, as four of the top five seeds are from the conference. LSU earned the No. 1 seed for the regional, followed by Oklahoma and Vanderbilt of the SEC, Pepperdine, and then Tennessee of the SEC.
