Three A-State Athletics Programs Receive NCAA APR Public Recognition Awards

JONESBORO, Ark. (5/16/18) – The Arkansas State Athletics Department had three programs, including women’s cross country, women’s golf and women’s tennis, earn a Public Recognition Award from the NCAA on Wednesday for compiling multiyear Academic Progress Rates (APR) in the top 10 percent of all teams in their respective sport.

The Red Wolves have now seen at least three programs earn the honor four consecutive years, which is currently the longest such streak among all Sun Belt Conference schools. A-State’s four-year run with at least three programs receiving the award includes the 2015 NCAA announcement when A-State had a school-record five programs recognized.
