JONESBORO, Ark. (9/27/17) – A two-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection highlighted in a recent Sports Illustrated article as the only current FBS player in the nation to earn both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees before the start of his true senior season, Arkansas State cornerback and return specialist Blaise Taylor was named a William V. Campbell Trophy semifinalist Wednesday by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF).
Taylor is one of 181 semifinalists up for consideration of the award that recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation.
