JONESBORO, Ark. (4/18/19) – Arkansas State junior Zan Luka Stirn was named Thursday as the Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week, marking the third time this season and fifth time of his career he has garnered the league’s weekly honor.
Stirn earned the award most recently after claiming his third individual championship of the season at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate before coming back to place tied for second at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic and collect his sixth top-three finish of the season.
The junior helped lead A-State to the Bubba Barnett team title, its fourth championship of the season, and to a fifth-place finish out of 14 squads at the Bayou City tourney.
