JONESBORO, Ark. (9/5/16) – Arkansas State’s Mallory Warrington earned her second straight Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Week award, while Kenzie Fields picked up the league’s Freshman of the Week honor as the SBC released its weekly volleyball awards Monday afternoon.
Warrington continued her fast start to the 2016 season with a fantastic showing at the Marcia E. Hamilton Classic that saw her claim all-tournament honors for the event. She dished out 161 assists (12.38 per set) in 13 sets of action and also had three service aces along with 28 digs. This is Warrington’s seventh’s Setter of the Week award and her eighth total weekly award.
