STATESBORO, Ga. (10/28/16) – The Arkansas State volleyball team registered its seventh straight sweep, tying for the most since the 1996 season, with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-22) victory over Georgia Southern Friday night at Hanner Fieldhouse in Statesboro.
The seven sweeps in conference play are the most for A-State (19-7, 11-1 SBC) ever in the Sun Belt Conference and the most since eight straight sweeps of American South Conference foes in 1990.
