JONESBORO, Ark. (10/3/16) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team was ranked third in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Poll per an announcement by the NTCA Monday afternoon.
The Red Wolves received 1,206 points along with two first-place votes to land the third spot on the poll behind Nebraska (1,312 points and eight first-place votes) and Stephen F. Austin (1,302 points and 22 first-place votes). Vanderbilt was fourth with 1,152 points and four first-place tallies, while McKendree University rounded out the top five with 1,137 points.
Arkansas State finished last season’s poll in the third position after going 1-2 in the bracket portion of the NCAA Tournament.
