HOUSTON, Texas (11/6/16) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team lost a tough match to Vandy to open bracket play Sunday, but bounced back to win two matches and claim third place at the Kat Klash being held at Emerald Lanes in Houston, Texas.
A-State (18-7) took a 2-0 edge on 214-166 and 222-165 wins in their first match of the day against Vanderbilt, but the Commodores got on the board with a 216-193 win in the third game. The Red Wolves won game four 218-195, but dropped the next two (210-205 and 259-179) to force a decisive game seven.
