Every SMU starter scored at least 13 points during the team's rout of Arkansas State on Friday night at Moody Coliseum in Dallas.
B.J. Edwards led the way for the Mustangs (6-0) with 24 points, 13 assists and 10 steals. Boopie Miller followed with 17 points, 6 assists and 7 steals. Arkansas State committed 32 turnovers, including 26 steals by SMU, which turned those miscues into 51 points. Jaron Pierre Jr. scored 15 points, Samet Yigitoglu added 14 and Corey Washington tallied 13, while Jermaine O'Neal Jr. put up 11 off the bench.
