SE Missouri State (21-8) rallied with three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Arkansas State (13-15) on Tuesday in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

The Redhawks took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning on a home run by Dan Holst, but the Red Wolves tied the game in the top of the fourth on an RBI double by Joe Schrimpf. ASU took a 2-1 lead in the top of the eighth inning on an RBI single by Matt Burgess though the left side, setting the stage for SEMO pinch hitter Chris Osborne to hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the inning.
