JONESBORO, Ark. (4/24/19) – Arkansas State volleyball head coach Santiago Restrepo announced Wednesday that Shannon Niemeier will be an assistant coach on his staff.
“We’re excited about Shannon joining the coaching staff,” said Restrepo. “Shannon is somebody that in the past couple of years has been super trustworthy and loyal to me and my programs. She is super talented and will add a different perspective to our staff.”
Niemeier (nee-myer) comes to Arkansas State after one season as an assistant coach for Coach Restrepo at Oklahoma City University. In her lone season with the Stars, Niemeier helped the team to a 31-6 record, the Sooner Athletic Conference title and an appearance in the NAIA Championships.
