AUBURN, Ala. (5/13/25) –Thomas Schmidt set a program record 36-hole total for an Arkansas State men's golfer at a NCAA Regional as he stands tied for eighth at 2-under par 142 with two rounds complete at the Auburn University Club.
Following a first round even-par 72, Schmidt was two strokes better Tuesday carding a 2-under par 70 despite the course average being 74.63. Schmidt's 2-under par 142 is the program best on a par-72 course and equals the even-par 142 Jake Lile had at the University of Texas Golf Club's par-71 course last season in NCAA Regional play.
