On one of the Jack Stephens Center's biggest nights, Roger Woods delivered one of the arena's best performances.
UALR's senior forward tied a Jack Stephens Center record with a career-high 30 points, and the Trojans beat Arkansas State 89-80 on Tuesday night.
The Trojans' victory, their program record 27th, came in front of a sellout crowd of 5,619, the largest in the arena's 11 seasons, and closed out a 14-0 regular season on the Trojans' home floor.
Senior guard Josh Hagins added 15 points for UALR (27-3, 17-2 Sun Belt Conference) to pass Derek Fisher for third place on UALR's all-time scoring list in his final home game along with fellow seniors Woods, Jermaine Ruttley and Daniel Green.
