It was quite an afternoon in Jonesboro on Saturday.
Arkansas State and Texas State combined to score 41 points in the fourth quarter after being tied 10-10 at the end of three quarters. A missed Bobcat extra point was the difference as ASU won 31-30.
The Red Wolves had a six-play scoring drive that took just 53 seconds off the clock. Quarterback Jaylen Raynor got the touchdown with seven seconds left on a four-yard run.
It was a desperately needed win for a team that had lost four consecutive games, including road games at Kennesaw State and Louisiana-Monroe that the Red Wolves should have won.
