As one of Arkansas State's starting cornerbacks last season, Taylor would routinely run the length of the field, jog back, then do it again as opposing offenses chose to attack the Red Wolves through the air.
"The receiver runs a go route, then you have to do it again against somebody that's fresh," Taylor said "The hardest part is the conditioning."
ASU was one of the most passed-on teams in college football last season, a product of its own up-tempo offense that made its defense stay on the field longer than most. The Red Wolves' propensity to score points that made most opponents playing catch up didn't help, either.
