“I think it was a good game for us,” A-State Head Coach Brian Boyer said. “We did a lot of good things, but I also think we saw a lot things defensively. They did a lot of screen action that we haven’t seen in practice and we didn’t handle it well in the first half, but in the second half we were better and did a better job of communicating on the ball screen.”
Sophomore Jada Ford and junior Akasha Westbrook both reached double figures with 10, while freshman forward Peyton Martin followed with nine.
