BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (1/19/18) – Arkansas State track & field athletes earned individual titles in seven out of 12 field events and added four top times on the track for 11 total event wins Friday at the Samford January Invite inside the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The Birmingham CrossPlex is home to the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships February 19-20. A-State left the CrossPlex with 11 individual titles, 21 more top five finishes and 19 more in the top 10.
“This was our first meet of the semester with a full squad, and a first on the road for many of our underclassmen,” said A-State head coach Jim Patchell.
