JONESBORO, Ark. (2/8/19) – The Arkansas State Track & Field teams got a final tune-up before the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships with the ASU Scarlett and Black Invitational held Friday afternoon at First National Bank Arena.
A-State had a strong performance on the day and garnered 20 event titles (nine on the men’s side and 11 on the women’s side), while compiling a total of 72 top-five finishes.
Caitland Smith took home top honors in the 200 meter dash by running the fourth fastest time in program history at 24.09. Kerra Williams took home the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.
