OXFORD, Miss. (3/30/19) – The Arkansas State track and field teams had athletes at three different meets this week and came away with 19 top five finishes and a total of 31 inside the top 10.
Senior sprinter Caitland Smith placed third in the 100-meter dash at the ultra-competitive Texas Relays. She finished with a wind-aided 11.25 seconds (+4.3 m/s) after qualifying for the final with a time of 11.34 seconds. Junior Emma Nwofor competed in the 100-meter hurdles at the Texas Relays finishing 18th with a time of 11.58 seconds. Senior Michael Carr rounded out the Red Wolves at the Texas Relays finishing sixth in the pole vault at 5.
