CARBONDALE, Ill. (2/4/17) – Several members of the Arkansas State track and field teams competed this weekend at the Don Denoon Invitational hosted by Southern Illinois University.
“We have a big meet next week in Albuquergue and this weekend was a tune up for that,” said head coach Jim Patchell. “We had several that were off this weekend, but those that competed continued to improve. It was an opportunity for some of the younger kids to get another chance to compete.”
Jaylen Bacon returned to action Saturday and picked up where he left off with a dominating win in the 60-meter dash.
