BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (2/9/18) – The Arkansas State men’s and women’s track and field teams completed preparations ahead of the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships with Friday’s Samford Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The A-State men won three events and put together 12 top three finishes while the women’s squad had top three finishes in four events. The Red Wolves take over the top spot on the Sun Belt Conference performance list in two events while taking second in two other events.
“The team came together at this meet a produced a solid effort,” said A-State head coach Jim Patchell.
