Red Wolves Fall 4-0 at Texas State

SAN MARCOS, Texas (4/6/19) –The Arkansas State women’s tennis team fell to Texas State 4-0 on Saturday in a Sun Belt Conference tennis match.

Pronpawee Pramethong suffered a 6-3, 6-3 setback to Perez to open the contest. Shelby King took the first set against Lewis 6-2, but dropped the next two sets 4-6, 3-6 to give the Bobcats the 2-0 match lead.

Anita Detlava fell 4-6 in her first set against Navajo-Melendez, but rallied in the second to win 6-3. Navajo-Melendez made it 3-0 Bobcats with a 9-5 decision in the third set. Joy Chia Ming Ming clinched the match for Texas State with a 6-3, 7-5, defeat of Berta Masdevall Masip.
