SAN MARCOS, Texas (3/21/21) – After dropping a close doubles point and getting down 3-0 in the match, the Arkansas State women's tennis team stormed back to claim an exciting 4-3 victory at Texas State Sunday afternoon.
With the victory, A-State improved to 4-4, 2-2 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Texas State dropped to 4-6, 3-3 in league action.
The Red Wolves tandem of Shelby King and Jill Morse grabbed the first win in doubles with a 6-2 victory over Nikita Pradeep and Chacadyah Israel-Lewis. However, the Bobcats took the doubles point with wins on court three and court one.
