JONESBORO, Ark. (3/17/21) – Coming off a victory in the Mid-Winter Invitational, the Arkansas State bowling team earned the No. 1 seed in this weekend's Southland Bowling League Championship and will open postseason competition against eighth-seeded Valparaiso on Friday.
The tournament will be held at Colonial Bowling Lanes in Harahan, La., and an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals will be on the line. Seedings for the tournament are based on the latest NCAA RPI rankings that have the Red Wolves ranked 10th in the March 17 update. Seven of the Southland's eight teams are ranked among the top 23 in the RPI report.
