Red Wolves Drop 87-71 Contest At South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. (2/20/20) – On Thursday morning at the Mitchell Center, the Arkansas State women's basketball team dropped an 87-71 decision to South Alabama in Sun Belt Conference action.

A-State (9-16, 6-8 SBC) forced 21 turnovers while allowing just nine, but the Jaguars (13-13, 8-6) shot 53.4 percent from the field (46.2 percent from three) to get the win.

"We have to stop digging ourselves into holes," head coach Matt Daniel said. "Our sense of urgency has to be better in the first half. We played them even in the second half, and we have to continue developing that.
